Digits to All (DTA) pilot project Launched on June 17th -150 Tablets distributed

One Hundred and Fifty households in the four paras of Nizmawna village (Sripur Union, Gazipur District) were trained on how to use and access information on the Amadeyr Tablets and the WMN installation was set up and tested.  ACL thanks the One Degree Initiative (http://www.1di.org/) and our volunteer WMN set up team from the EECS Department, North South University (Kazi Mehedi Hasan, Montasir Farhan, Saifur Rahman and Adnan Quadri) for their invaluable assistance in starting the pilot.

Train The Trainers [TTT] on using Amadeyr Tablets commenced on June 16th

The 1° Initiative, a student volunteer organization (http://www.1di.org/), will be 
training the villagers at the four Nizmawna, Gazipur villages on how to
  1. use the Amadeyr Tablets, 
  2. charge the Tablets and 
  3. access the Amadeyr Cloud intranet

Baseline Survey using Amadeyr Tablets commenced on June 15th

Eminence, a Bangladesh NGO specializing in social and public health research, is conducting a baseline survey in the four villages in Nizmawna, Gazipur using Amadeyr Tablets to access survey questionnaires and to input information (with such information being immediately uploaded into the Amadeyr Cloud for compilation and analysis)

Digits To All [DTA] pilot to commence on June 17, 2011

ACL will start piloting the the DTA project in Nizmawna (Thana), Sripur (union), Gazipur (district) starting on June 17, 2011. Meanwhile, here is a sneak peak to the way we spent our time at office, while running down final checks and packaging Amadeyr Tablets for over 150 families who will be participating in the pilot project.
